66ആമത് ദേശീയ ചലച്ചിത്ര അവാർഡുകൾ പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു. മികച്ച നടനായി ‘Uri – The Surgical Strike’ എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിന് വേണ്ടി വിക്കി കൗശലും Andhadhun എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിന് വേണ്ടി ആയുഷ്മാൻ ഖുറാനയും പങ്കിട്ടു. മഹനടിയിലെ പ്രകടനത്തിന് കീർത്തി സുരേഷ് മികച്ച നടിയായി തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടപ്പോൾ ‘സുഡാനി ഫ്രം നൈജീരിയ’ കഴിഞ്ഞ വർഷത്തെ മികച്ച മലയാള ചിത്രമായി മാറി. മികച്ച ആർട്ട് വർക്കിനുള്ള പുരസ്‌കാരം ദിലീപ് ചിത്രം കമ്മരസംഭവം സ്വന്തമാക്കി.
ജോസഫ് എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിന് വേണ്ടി ജോജു ജോർജ്, സുഡാനി ഫ്രം നൈജീരിയ എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഉമ്മയുടെ വേഷത്തിന് സാവിത്രി എന്നിവർക്ക് പ്രത്യേക പരാമർശം ലഭിച്ചു.
