The 2016 Uri attack was an attack by four heavily armed militants on 18 September 2016, near the town of Uri in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. It was reported as “the deadliest attack on security forces in Kashmir in two decades. India then found her victory by a revengeful Surgical Strike.
Based on the above incident the filmmakers are ready to release on January 11,2019 and dedicate to the martyrs. The trailer of Uri was released on 4 December starring Vicky Kaushal, Yami Gautam and Paresh Rawal. The film is written and directed by Aditya Dhar which will be produced by Ronnie Screwvala.
The trailer has already crossed 7.3 million views on youtube in two days and has achieved a huge applause.
